Dump the Scales

Why we made the Dump The Scales film?  Over the last few years people affected by eating disorders have been faced with neglectful care, people have been crying out for help and denied support but still we have seen little to no action on really tackling the epidemic of eating disorders.   People are still being told they’re “not sick enough” or “too complex”, being discharged too early and in too many cases they’re dying.

Right now, across the UK, people with eating disorders are being denied care, turned away from services, and left to become more unwell. Some are dying. Not because recovery isn’t possible but because the system is failing them. This has to change.
